Romans 8:35

Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? Shall tribulation, or distress, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or peril, or sword?

Although trials and tribulations may come, nothing is strong enough to break the bond of love between Christ and true believers. It is through Christ’s love and the empowering of His Holy Spirit that we as believers are able to overcome any obstacles or hindrances that are placed in our path. We have the power within us to rejoice in times of suffering and times of distress; knowing that God's love for us shall keep us in perfect peace.

We have a full assurance that nothing that is happening in our lives or anything that we have done can separate us from the love of God.

Reflect today on the many ways that God has shown you His love.
